Kirin Industries is proud to deliver another purpose-built vehicle to 77 Freight Transport, marking the third truck supplied to the growing Brisbane logistics company in 2026.
Built on a Hino 300 Series 616 car licence truck, this custom aluminium curtain sider has been engineered to maximise payload while maintaining durability and ease of operation for daily freight work.
A key feature of the build is its lightweight aluminium body construction. With an approximate body tare weight of just 750kg, the vehicle remains exceptionally light despite being equipped with a full-size Dhollandia DHLMA10 tail lift. The result is a practical freight solution that still offers approximately 1 tonne of payload capacity while remaining within car licence limits.
Designed for the demanding transport and distribution sector, the vehicle combines:
• Lightweight aluminium curtain sider construction • Full-size Dhollandia DHLMA10 tail lift • Excellent payload capacity for a car licence truck • Corrosion-resistant aluminium structure • Reduced operating costs through lower tare weight • Easy side loading and unloading access for freight operations
Based in Brisbane, 77 Freight Transport has built a reputation for reliable local delivery, B2B transport, fleet logistics solutions and freight services across South East Queensland. The company continues to expand its fleet to support growing customer demand, making this their third vehicle supplied by Kirin Industries this year alone.
For operators in the transport industry, every kilogram saved on body weight translates directly into additional payload, improved efficiency and greater earning potential. This latest build demonstrates how lightweight vehicle design can help transport businesses maximise productivity without compromising functionality.
We thank the team at 77 Freight Transport for their continued support and trust in Kirin Industries, and we look forward to supporting their future fleet growth.
