Customer requirement.

Battery-service vehicles carry dense products, tools and service equipment. The body therefore needed to minimise unnecessary tare while giving the operator direct access to stored items throughout the working day.

Kirin’s response.

Kirin used the ALLYPAN® lightweight aluminium body system with multiple external roller doors. The combination supports payload-sensitive work and allows service access along the body without the swing clearance required by large hinged doors.
