A lightweight aluminium body manufactured by KIRIN and configured as a complete mobile workspace for Total Insulation's specialist equipment and field operations.
Project summary
A weight-efficient truck body configured around a complex field installation.
The customer requirement.
Total Insulation required a truck body capable of carrying a substantial specialist fit-out without losing sight of usable payload, access or serviceability. The body also needed to accommodate fixed machinery, material drums, control equipment and utilities while keeping the installation organised for day-to-day field work.
The KIRIN response.
KIRIN used its ALLYPAN® lightweight aluminium body platform to provide a weight-efficient base for the completed installation. The body was configured around the fit-out, with a full-height rear work area, an external service compartment, internal lighting, air conditioning, ventilation and durable aluminium treadplate flooring.
Equipment integration
Access and services organised around the field workflow.
The rear opening provides direct access to the main equipment zone, while the internal arrangement keeps pumps, hoses, controls and material-handling components visible and accessible. A separate ventilated external compartment houses the climate-control equipment without taking up the central work area.
Completed specialist fit-out.
The finished vehicle combines a structured rear work area with fixed specialist machinery, material-drum positions, connected pumps and hoses, clearly arranged controls and supporting service equipment.
Internal lighting, air conditioning, ventilation, fire extinguishers, tool storage, treadplate flooring and a removable rear access step support practical day-to-day use. Equipment selection, capacities and operating procedures remain specific to Total Insulation and its specialist fit-out.

Project outcome.
This project demonstrates how the ALLYPAN® platform can support more than conventional freight applications. By configuring the body around the equipment and field workflow from the outset, KIRIN delivered a lightweight foundation for a complex mobile installation while preserving practical access and a clean, organised working environment.
